The test stand is a trailer mounted mobile testing unit, for rapidly and accurately determining the performance and operating characteristics of aircraft hydraulic systems. The test stand, using its primary, secondary systems or both, or the combined flow of both systems, is completely self- contained to perform the following test and service operations.
Actuate all the hydraulic devices and controls of the aircraft for functional and operational tests.
Tests the aircraft systems for internal and external leakage.
Drains flush and refill the aircraft hydraulic systems with micronically filtered hydraulic fluid.
The test stand will operate under ambient temperature conditioned ranging from -40°F-125°F, and will withstand storage at temperatures ranging from -65°F-160°F. The stand will function satisfactorily at a relative humidity of 95-100 percent, and at altitudes from sea level to 6000 feet. The entire test stand may be inclined a maximum of 8½° in any direction from its horizontal operating plane without impairing its functional capability.
